So, I have to say that I know this isn't the best picture I've ever taken, it's not even the best flower picture I've taken...But, as I was climbing out of the flower bed, camera in hand, I slipped on a wet rock and took a nasty fall on to the cement path in the back yard.
I tossed the camera towards the grass for a soft landing, before I hit the ground with a bang!
My left knee is now twice the size of my right, and I am in considerable pain!
I hope the image was worth it!iris

Shut up D: This is a freaking amazing shot! I love the fact that you can see every detail of the flower. The veins are clearly defined and so are the dewdrops.

Well worth it all except the pain bit, lol, should try photographing cacus flowers ^.^
But if you think about it, there can be no pleasure without pain, even aesthetic pleasure in this case.
Beautiful capture, I love the richness of the colours, and the textures are amazing

Oh yes...It is easy, but, trust me, I've been there too. I can't count the times I've twisted ankles, gotten stung or bitten and almost suffered heat strokefor some of the shots in my Gallery. I do understand, and I really do hope you're better.
