I love it! The way you use the light source is amazing, allowing half the face to be hidden and yet I can still get a sense of the person's style and form.

I think the composition works pretty well, with the head being off-centered and the wing leading the viewer in from the side. The contrast between the wing and the body is also a nice touch, cause that's what convinced me of the struggle: light? or let the darkness consume?

At least, that's what I pull from the piece, cause I've kinda gone through that experience. Very nice ^^

And aah, the charkole remnants...the sides of my pinkies and ring fingers would turn red and start bleeding when I'd work on the pieces that took a larger toll on me...I guess they serve as a reminder of the feelings you put into a piece...maybe? Anywho, that's what I've always felt.

it captured my eye so fast and its so intense i can feel it when i look at it ...... i cant stop looking at it its so captivating!!!!!!!!!!!!
you did a great job, i wish i could know more about this piece and why the pain and the struggle????? could you please elaborate more on this piece because its soooooooo AMAZING!!!! you are so talented!
it actually doesnt really communicate pain to my personal perception, it actually gives me the feeling of great strength and great power , the guy almost looks like he has kinetic energy and he is gonna kick some ass with his kinetic powers!!!! wow !!! somehow this portrait reminds me of me in the moments where i have found myself so desperate i seem to invoke a certain energy that could move mountains! ... especially when im feeling intense! this is the same expression i get and i am sure everyone gets at certain state of mind. It really is mind blowing and i congratulate you for such powerful piece. you are great!!!! if you keep transmitting this kind of energy in your art work you will go so far !!!! I LOVE IT not ever i have encounter a piece of art so powerful i can almost hear a song when i look at it FUCK! its great.
