Description

Name: Psychomander
Aliases: the Cringe Lord

Factions: None
Status: Active
Alignment:  Chaotic Neutral
Rank: 3

Measurements:
Length: 20 meters
Weight: Light

Abilities:
Bone Break: Psychomander’s main ability is breaking her own bones and utilizing them as weapons, using some mentally-controlled variation of a kaiju’s healing abilities to cause the bones to lengthen or increase in size, turning neural spines into axe-like blades or broken arm bones into makeshift lances.

Venom: When forcing her sharp rib bones through her sides, they pass through special venom sacs. While not fatal even to non-kaiju, this venom does cause agonizing pain.

Advanced Healing: While nowhere near the level of Yilastalik, Psychomander’s healing ability is somewhat high, as can be expected of a kaiju who forces her own bones to break the skin to use as weapons. Interestingly, she seems to be able to consciously control how fast she heals.

Masochist: Psychomander is not immune to pain, but she does seem to actively enjoy the sensation of having pain inflicted upon her.

Intelligent: Psychomander is intelligent enough to plan, coming up with strategies meant to inflict as much pain on her opponent as possible

Weaknesses:
Sadomasochist: Psychomander enjoys inflicting pain and being in pain, and will draw out fights in order to inflict of experience as much pain as possible.

No Ranged Combat Skills: Psychomander has no ranged attacks, requiring her to get up close and personal.

Insane: While intelligent, Psychomander is also psychologically unstable.

Personality:

An insane kaiju with a pain fetish. When left to her own devices, Psychomander will pass the time by clawing, biting, and piercing her own flesh, vocalizing cooing noises as each new wound is made and eventually healed. In battle, she spends as much time inflicting self-harm as she does harming her opponent. She is unpredictable, but does not seem to show any interest in humans unless there is high-grade military weaponry about, whereupon she will attempt to provoke the small creatures into attacking her.

Bio: With the Mediterranean and the Sea of Asov spawning their own amphibian kaiju, as well as the addition of a flying frog to this menagerie, finally followed by Eterno rising from the Dead Sea, a small internet poll arose, jokingly debating the next place “a giant frog or something” would show up, with the choices being the Caspian Sea, the Persian Gulf, the Red Sea, or “enough amphibians, give us something new!”

Unfortunately, that corner of the world DID have more kaiju to produce…

January 27. As Eterno and Icarus battled in the Mujib Nature Reserve, another beast emerged from the Caspian Sea, hauling itself onto land near the Astrakhan Nature Reserve, an area of reeds, cattails, and willows.

The beast was a mere 20 meters long, an unremarkable-looking purple-grey salamander with a slightly longer neck than average.

The kaiju looked around, taking in the landscape, then gave a small exhalation, like a bored sigh. A small gleam entered its eyes, then it took its arm, bending it until it snapped, making small delighted cooing noises. The salamander began twisting and flexing beyond what would be considered “safe” even for a kaiju, broken bones not only piercing her skin, but slightly increasing in mass and sharpness, ripping gashes through her frame.

Eventually, the salamander’s body was a bloody mess, a corpse-like figure with multiple bone fragments sticking from open wounds. The beast was panting, but seemingly only from exertion. Her eyes closed, and her wounds slowly began healing, bones returning to their original size and placement before the wounds closed, a process which took about 2 hours, though the self-inflicted punishment had taken the better part of the day.

With a final sigh, the salamander shifted her position slightly, and fell asleep.

Important Dates:

January 27-31, 2036: Psychomander hauls herself onto land near the Astrakhan Nature Reserve. She is sighted by a guided boat tour, and her presence reported at the Reserve’s offices in the city of Astrakhan, but she is left alone due to a seeming disinterest in humans.

February 4, 2036: Psychomander is seen in the Caspian Sea fighting a massive Rank 3 kaiju resembling a fish, seemingly drawing out the battle before finally killing the heavily injured piscine kaiju with a double lance derived from her right radius and ulna, afterwards eating her vanquished foe.

Quite disturbing. A fight between her and Juaragong could potentially NEVER END.

What a delightfully weird kaiju. One of the first masochists for HWE actually! Her design shows her personality nicely too.

thanks! It's always fun to make a somewhat unhinged character
