I see you got ATF approval for sbr. Are the background checks involved similar to normal gun background checks?

as far as I know, it is pretty close to a normal background check. Of course you do have to do some extra paper work, get prints and photo taken. The hardest part of the process is the waiting. The paper work is easy once you do it a couple of times plus you can get all the paper work for free from the ATF, so trying to hunt down all the right forums is a non issue. As for the internal workings of the ATF NFA branch, will its the Government.
