Thanks Helen. It's actually taken from a carriage on the Leadhills & Wanlockhead Railway in South Lanarkshire, and the village is Leadhills, the second highest village in Scotland (Wanlockhead being the highest, but that's in Dumfries & Galloway, across the County Boundry about a mile away).
