Close to Grünau in the Lower Austrian Pielach valley an artificial canal called Hammermuehlbach has been created centuries ago to provide for hydro-powered industry. It has been fed on the one hand by Pielach water, on the other hand by tributaries from the surrounding hills. One of these is called Hochkoglerbach, and the confluence can be seen here.
