Tris and Briar from The Circle of Magic books. Tweens age, or maybe full teen... before Empress I would guess.I am tired and the scanner killed my colors and contrasted the thing very much T^T I can't fix it better than this for now.
(If you can see what's happening to Tris' scarf... yes it's Briar's fault.)

I absolutely love this! The look on Tris's face is priceless and so her. Briar would so use his magic to pull on her dress. Makes me want to write a little ficlet around this art.

I wanted him to be more middle-east looking, like the woman who was on the cover of national geographic a long time ago. He's always described as darker than the girls, and I figure he's outside with the plants all he time, so he's darker plus suntan. I don't think he's really dark enough to be black though. Though I suppose next to Tris' uber pale he looks pretty dark.
