HISTORY:
Nina, being an audino has a very good sense of hearing, perhaps too good. She is very sensitive to loud noises, even compared to others of her kind. Even a speaking voice that is above average in volume is enough to make her flinch at times. When her sound tolerance is pushed past it's limits she has been known to break down emotionally and physically until silence is restored. Fortunately, this is a very rare occurrence and has only happened a handful of times.

Nina is an only child who was born in the city to a mawile father and audino mother. Her father had a high paying office job there and her mother stayed at home. However, Nina had a difficult time handling the amount of noise that came along with the hustle and bustle of the city. Her mother decided to "temporarily" move to a small town called Pine with Nina when she was 5. Her father stayed in the city in order to keep his job, but visited once or twice a month. They had hoped that once Nina became a little older, sounds wouldn't get to her so badly and then the family could go back to living together in the city.

Nina enjoyed the calmer, quieter lifestyle quite a bit. She didn't have many friends to play with because the other children were often too rowdy for her. Her avoidance was often mistaken for shyness, but much to her parent's relief, Nina would often do well when meeting new people as long as noises levels were low. Instead of playing with others, Nina amused herself by exploring around her yard and watching the different insects she found. Over time this activity became an obsession as she began to spend the majority of her spare time studying about insects. Over the years she did get a bit better at coping with loud sounds, but her parents were still concerned, never quite daring to try to move back to the city.

When Nina turned 18 made the decision that she was ready to move out on her own, although it took many months to convince her concerned parents. She was finally given the ok after she promised her parents that she would only travel to small towns. After a few more months of traveling from town to town she found herself at Pokette. She writes home weekly.

HOBBY: collecting bows/ribbons and other accessories, catching bugs

JOB: unemployed, but will sell bugs she catches when she need moneys
