"You're a great friend Aaron but....I can't...I just can't. I'm straight....I'm sorry."This is based on an rp scene from a while back with . Lysander FINALLY realized that Aaron was in love with him. He had sort of suspected it for a while, but was in denial. Aaron has become one of Lysander's best friends, so he hated having to turn him down, but he know it was better then stringing the poor guy along with false hopes.
The kicker is that this is Ly went through a very similar scenario during his teen years with a certain other gay best friend of his.
It's pretty sad when you can say that you're love life would be easier if you were gay.

The picture itself is very well drawn.
Lysander's pose shows comfort and strength but his facial expression reveals pain and regret, making him that much stronger for having to go through such a painful rejection. How he is holding Aaron also shows how much he cares for Aaron even if he can't experience any emotional or physical attraction. Being held so close to Lysander show's Aaron's weakness, understandably because his heart is being broken. At the same time it's a controlled (rather than historical) crying, hinting that Aaron knew this was going to happen and accepts it despite the pain.
The shading and folds on the clothing are also excellent. This is especially important for Aaron because it shows the extra weight on his waist without drawing too much attention to it. On the other hand, it also makes it him softer and gentler which helps the viewer see him in a more sympathetic light. The background contains a gentle gradient from light to darkness, adding to the picture aesthetically without adding too much detail to distract from the characters. Overall this picture does a wonderful job of portraying the relationship between the two men along with the emotional pain they are experiencing...

Of course you know how much this picture effects me emotionally. I love it because it is painful, especially from me experiencing Aaron's feelings. At the same time seeing their pain makes it that much more amazing and enjoyable that they can still be friends. Obviously they don't just get over it and move on, it will still effect them for quite some time. And being able to have characters interact on such a meaningful level is what makes roleplaying with you really enjoyable ^__^

I agree, getting so deep into a character's mindset and the emotions that are created between our characters is why I love roleplaying~

Ohh, I'm not really a fan of comment rps, I can try to do notes but I do forget about them a lot >:
Script or lit, how ever you choose, won't matter to me as long as the post is worth waiting for. XD Nothing like waiting 12 hours for a oneliner to drive me up the wall.

I had a lot of trouble remembering note rps for a while, but I got better over time once I got used to getting notes all the time.
Can we yous script then? c: Mostly just because it's faster and I always feel bad making people wait.

Oh, when I say lit I don't mean paragraph. I just mean typing properly XD I don't do script style writing. I really don't mind 'shorter' posts as I usually do between 2-4 sentences unless it's a scenery set up.
Oh I am use to getting notes but RP notes take a lot more for me to remember to answer. I forget about the rp when they take forever to be answered and I open it and go to brood and- tend to forget. XD
But sure! And feel free to type in script style if you're more comfortable with it!
