Another painting done by me!This one only took about an hour.
Many people do not realize how lost we are.
Most feel so important and so grounded on the earth- yet I realize that we are just another insignificant world floating in an unfathomable amount of space.
Looking at the night sky is a good way of reminding ourselves of this.

I saw this posted else where and searched for like 15 mins to find out who painted it. I love it. It seems to have sooo much feeling and although a simple concept you can feel how many complex things she is thinking about as she stares into the night.

I love this!
The whole posture of sitting and gazing at the stars.
It truly reflects her preoccupation with thoughts.
The universe does invoke a lot of questions, and sometimes it just feels as though the more we know, the more lost we become.
That is what I could deduce from this.
How sad it is that I rarely see stars in the night sky nowadays.
Seems to prove the conjecture that we are indeed lost D:
And... I really do need to know how to draw that hair.
Seems so natural.

And I just turned down the opacity of my brush and drew in wavy dark strokes, then I went over top with an ever so slightly colour and did some more wavy strokes!
