Ha! Red's not exactly what I'd consider a relaxing color. Again, spot on anatomy. Your figures feel very natural and not stiff. Do you always work with a reference for realistic portraits? I do think the warm tones are overwhelming. It really needs some cool notes to break it up, otherwise, at a quick glance it reads flat with the subject melding into the background.

I used to really suck at cool tones, hence the relaxing bit.

well, in my book, its the same as painting a live model. except you cant tilt your head a bit to check if you got the damn proportions correct -_-
