From Tumblr:In my Animal Crossing: City Folk game, Alfonso the lazy alligator(?) seemed to really take a shine to Goose the athletic rooster. Alfonso would talk about how his mom told him to give gifts to people he wanted to be friends with, and then he changed his shirt to match Goose’s, and they were mannerisms that made it seem like he was a little kid who found a role model in Goose! I’ve wanted to draw them being cute since then.
