In both the anime Scramble for the Throne and the Kinnikuman manga, Suguru has an instant affection to Ataru, even before their identity as brothers is unmasked -

After Ataru scolds Suguru "Can't you be quiet, Suguru?! Men don't talk so much! It's best that they just watch what unfolds silently with both eyes!"

Suguru: =O [Stumbles back and falls on butt] U-usually when I'm spoken to like that I yell back but... when I look into the eyes of this Choujin Soldier guy, somehow I become meek!

Suguru: XO "Again! I-I can't say anything gazing at those eyes!"
