And here is a new adopt I got from RTKR at ych. At first I was torn between having Iasone being human before becoming a lamia or having her be a lamia since the day the egg containing her hatched. So I decided to go with both.

Before becoming Iasone Almen, Avile Zimmy was once a common ice mage in an adventurer's guild that took on many jobs with her team, serving as their calm and collected tactician that could be trusted to give out sound advice. After celebrating her 20th birthday they took on a job to bring down an evil witch named Xantha who for centuries had plagued the land and always seemed to come back after whenever a plan fails. Determined to end Xantha's evil for good they tracked down the witch, now an old hag, performing an unknown ritual. The team had no idea what the crone was planning, but they could tell it would end poorly for the world. During the fight when the ritual was finished a beam of light shot out from the circle and hit Avile instead of Xanatha who died from an anger induced stroke, and the ice mage was gone.

When Avile woke up from what felt like an extremely long nap, her head filled with strange dream-like memories of snakes and unfamiliar faces, and found herself on a bed that was not her usual one. Then she turned her head when she saw her own reflection. She was younger, twelve years old, with elongated ears ears covered in dark blue scales that also cover portions of her face, and a set of dark blue horns were on her head. Before she could process this she discovered how her legs were now replaced with the lower half of a snake. She had somehow been transformed into an Ice Lamia now living halfway across the world in the snowy Joeninjian Kingdom on the continent of Benia sta.sh/023f5y0am08g going by the name of Iasone Almen. All the commotion in some of her new family, most of which were also Ice Lamias too, came up to see what was going and thought Iasone went crazy.

After taking her to the town's local wizard the Almen's new family were shocked to learn that one of the middle children of the family did not go mad, and was in fact an adventurer who was reborn into their family. The man explained to Iasone that the ritual Xantha was trying to perform on herself would allow her to be reborn by placing her soul in a developing unborn child, and that by the time her new body reached the age of 12 her memories and magic would return. Just as he suspected Xantha did when conventional dark magic means to expand one's life span started to fail. When asked if she could become human again the man told her that due to the ritual the only way for her to become human again would require her to perform the ritual herself, and the cost for it made her sick to her stomach. Seeing how she had little choice Avile decided she would continue being Iasone Alemn.

In the present Iasone has returned to her previous job as an adventurer to provide for her new family that she has come to adore, and to gain enough money to fund a trip back to her old home to reunite with her old family and friends.

As for her personality Iasone retains many of her traits from her life as Avile. She is a bright cheerful young woman with a strong sense of justice that loves to read, write, and to do puzzles when she has the opportunity to do so. One change from her past life is how she is perfectly willing to use all aspects of her new race to complete a job. In the past Avile would not use mind control finding it to be distasteful while as Iasone she has no reservations about using her hypnotic gaze to get information out of bandits for example. On the other hand she does believe that being a lamia will make life more difficult for her when she returns home. She dreads being rejected by her old friends and family, and fears being labelled as a monster by them.

1: Iasone like many members of the Almen family is half snake. Her mother, most of her sisters, and one of her older brothers are Ice Lamias with the latter being referred to as an "Ice Naga".
2: Meanwhile her father, her other brothers, and her two younger sisters are human but one of them is slowly showing signs of becoming a lamia too.
2.5: I'm using the same rules I made for Third Time in regards to monstergirls/men for Iasone's world. Basically if and when Iasone becomes a mother 75% of the time her sons would be born human while carrying the demi-human gene. If exposed to enough certain magics Iasone's sons could become nagas, but it's more likely that their daughters would become lamias during puberty. As for her daughters she'd lay eggs with a 15% chance of giving birth to a normal human girl who potentially might become a lamia just like her mother later on in life.
3: Ice Lamias lay less eggs than normal ones with the common egg clutch being anywhere from two to four with six being the maximum number.
4: Iasone's staff is named Icebreaker has been with her since her life as Avile, and can materialized when she wants it to appear.
5: Iasone lives in a town named Kosto sta.sh/0jofrmekuq6
6: I forgot to add this earlier. As an Ice Lamia and an ice mage Iasone can handle the Joeninjian taiga better than a typical Ice Lamia could, wearing the outfit in the picture without problem. Though on some days she will dress more warmly as even her endurance can be challenged.
7: Iasone absolutely hates goblins. She doesn't want to see anyone kissing goblins, appreciating goblins, in bed with goblins, and succubussing goblins. The feeling is mutual as the local goblin population in the kingdom tell tales of a crazy snake lady to their kids that want to swallow them whole.
