yes , the music reach somewhere deep in us , i think for the one who is performing even more than for those listening . i told you before , i envy those who who can make music .

we listeners are important, though. musicians would perform for themselves and each other, but it means something to them to be heard by the rest of us--something more than money and fame, i mean--the human connection.
but i understand the envy. music makers seem so very free when they perform.
freedom and human connection together--wow, there is something of value. but the other arts do it too. perhaps the emotion is not as immediately felt as in music... still there, though.
this is becoming an aesthetics lecture! enough!
