How do you guyes make pics like this? Do you draw them first with pencil on papir and then put it over to the computer and do more things with it there.. Or..?

for this one i drew this first on a piece of paper, scanned it to the computer and do the outline using the brush tool in photoshop.
usually i just draw it on a piece of paper with a pencil, scanned it and do some adjustments on photoshop but for this piece i wanted to try something new
