I think this is a stunning image. I would use the contradiction of saying it seems a little raw but is very cute at the same time. The colour that comes through in her lips, whilst retaining a lot of the rough detail, contrasts well with the rest of the image. The messy look of her hair and the tired, almost puffy look in her eyes adds greatly to the image. There would have always been a temptaion on a image like this to airbrush but for me you made the correct choices to leave it raw.
I very much think that this image is great because there is life in it and bags of personality. Can I critique this image and suggest where improvements could be made? Only on a personal taste. I would have gone in tighter and maybe gone portrait cutting most of the background. Don't know if that would improve it or ruin it though!!

About the cropping.. I guess it is one of those things 50% would like and 50% would say it was better as it was. A matter of taste thing.
