wow, this is good, the thing I like abt this is its moderate, the accent of the pic, I mean the background and the subject are such that together they portray a good combination that can be seen as belonging to present timeline or a future oriented theme ..... the blend works out really well, its your unending search for perfection that makes ya clicks so good, wish I could learn a thing or two from you, would you mind posting some lessons in form of videos? so that people like me can learn some things too, like a short fast track guide to get stunning results

I'm sorry, this is the first time for my to do a critique. I did not know very well in photography and am only able to give my impressions and my face felt this picture.

This girl looks so sad .. The gray atmosphere, almost blurry, poorly lit perfectly matches the image that gives the model. It seems to be waiting for someone, as shown in his hand, on the side, instead of someone. His gaze is drawn down to the sadness. It seems in another world, but still clings to reality, because of the toe touches the ground still in a delicate position.

This looks really wonderful. The soft shadows and grey-blue tone definitely help the conveyance of this photograph. Even the position of the subject is really well done. The vertical aspect of the subject along with the position of the arms guide the viewer's eye to the where the contrast between her face and hair is strong. The pose itself is reminiscent of European art in the 1500's or so. This is a great example of correct use of lighting and lines. If I were to fix one thing I would increase the contrast by just a little bit. The picture seems a little flat because of the lack of contrast in some areas, especially a few parts of the couch. Other then that I would feature this in a portfolio.

I actually really like this picture because you get across the message you are trying to project perfectly. The way you arent looking at the camera and straight into nothing with your eyes half closed shows that you are deep in thought. But your posture says that you arent completely out of it, but what you are thinking about is actually really important. Something that deeply connected with you emotionally. One of my favorite parts is also the lighting of the picture, which you got down perfectly. It really catches the person who is looking at its attention and immediately sets the mood so that there isnt any confusion whatsoever.

I'm not very good at these, but here we go...
The first thing I notice is the way her (your?) arms are positioned. As though she's having difficulty staying upright. The facial expression, or lack of one, is either saying that she is hurt or is numb to the emotional pain she has suffered. She is indeed beautiful and more than likely intelligent. Maybe she feels as though the world is collapsing down upon her? Her legs are in somewhat of a relaxed position which tells me she's going to be there a while to ponder whatever may be going on inside her head. She's looking downward which is a projection of a negative emotion, like discontent or sadness. Makes me want to sit beside her and see if I can get her to talk and let out those negative emotions.
About the surroundings: There's not much there, but I can say, that with the over-sized couch and hardwood floors, I'm guessing she lives alone in a studio apartment. The wall appear as though there may have been wallpaper on them at some point but she didn't like the design and decided to white-wash them.
This was my first critique. Hopefully I'll get better over time e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s… " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Smile)"/>

Once again, nondani strikes e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b… " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Big Grin)"/>

You excel at portraying the female shape under soft lighting. The bare shoulders, the muted colours, the relaxed posture all reflects back upon the softness of the imagery and lends a greater impact to the vulnerability of the subject.

If there's anything negative to be said, I'll have to note that this isn't anything new, but then again, the same can be said of most anything, the entirety of my own gallery included...

I think in a different manner, and would hence lend weight to different things in such an image, but, hey, that's me e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s… " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Smile)"/>

You're quickly approaching the top of my list of photographers to watch.

Top work!

I like this a lot. The Contrast between her skin and the clothing is especialy nice. This image evokes an emotion that I am not quite able to describe. This immediately caught my eye. I am courious how it would look monotone or in a sepia. Granted there are the opinions of a brand new amature to photography and art.
