Description Started off as a underwater themed image but it's deviated off the original sketch terribly into this much darker thing. I had plotted it out with cool blues and greens but you know how it is when you get onto a tangent!

The head of the octopuss looks a bit like an elephant head, I like that. The colors are great.

Ugh, HOW did I manage to overlook this in my message box!

Octopi are so awesome, it makes sense that you'd draw one... they fit in perfectly with your style.

It constantly amazes me how you can draw all those tiny interlocking shapes. I think I'd go crazy trying to do something like that. o.o;

Thanks for your comment I like the tiny squiggles, hehe, put on a good film or some nice music and let your mind wind into a stupor, it's relaxing, like knitting

This is just ace - the colours and the line work. Do you like the Art Nouveau style? It's reminding me of a modern update of Alphonse Mucha!

I was completely unaware of the art noveau style really, but a HUGE thank you for introducing it to me! I can't beleive I hadn't heard of Alphonse Mucha before when he is so appealing to my style - makes you really wonder whether your favourite artist/band/musician/photographer is still out there waiting to be discovered... how humbling!!! Thanks, had a recent thread up asking for criticism and the overwhelming consensus was "sort out your composition" - so I opted for something nice and symmetrical
