Since this felt more like a bored expression to me I think it’s better to bend it more to a grumpy expression if that’s possible. That’s one of the top two expressions to describe him I suppose
I felt like the problem mainly had to do with the dark coloration of the muzzle/eyes border? I’m not quite sure but I feel that’s where the tired look came from.

Also as a reply to the coloration question. You used the right colors, certainly! But I feel like the line between the eyes and the muzzle is a little too dark which made it more look like the typical "I'm tired I barely slept" If you get what I mean? Like the eye bags.
It's just a feeling specific tints can give I suppose and it happened to come out that way in combination with the expression but with this changed expression it does look a lot better and I love it!
