I still haven't seen it myself you know, the movie "The Car", from 1977, featuring a killer, demonic car that runs people over for no apparent reason.I went ahead and modelled it, it's a fairly easy car to do, so perfect for my first finished model (this one was completed before the Ferrari).
Done with barely any blueprints (there aren't any of it), because this car is a custom built (made by Barris Kustoms, they did & still do TONS of movie cars) Lincoln Continental Mk IV.

I lived on a back road and used to be afraid this thing would plow through my parent's mobile home! Haha! The things we fear as kids! An experience with a near miss with a Tornado taught me there were bigger things to worry about

Thank you ProDigital for scaring me half out of my wits. I remember this movie all too well. As my father took the family to see this when it came out in 1977. I had nightmares for months on end because of this demonic vehicle. Now that I'm considerably older than 8 years old I still get the heebie jeebies because of this car. Your rendition of this classic horror icon is superb. Now if you'll excuse me I have to go change my shorts.

I've seen it, its not necessarily scary, but there are parts that make you jump with fright. But ultimately, I think its an awesome movie. Your picture should have been used for the official poster as well because its great! Really dark and ominous with a "barely be able to see" black motor vehicle that's about to spread you along the highway like strawberry jam when it runs you over!!! Holy crap I would pay $$$ for a massive poster of this and hang it on my wall!!!!! Its fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey you know I might as well revisit this render and do it in some absolutely massive resolution. I'll be sure to let you know, i've been wanting to put some of my renders up as posters in my own room as well. And thanks for the comment on this one
