Description
This is my entry for the shonen jump Copic Contest. It's been so long since I've drawn any girls, and since the topic was "characters from shonen jump", I decided to draw the two main female characters of Naruto. I tried to imitate Kishimoto-sensei's style in this picture because >_> SJ seems to like that...I don't think they like fanart styles very much [although I much prefer fanart/doujin styles over the originals], since all of the fanart pictures on SJ are all imitations/copies of the creaters artwork. T_T ...I guess I jumped on the bandwagon on that one. Colored w/ Copic markers, Scanned and edited in photoshop.

I hope to see it in the next issue of Shonen Jump....because I really like it....makes me wish I had more than just four copic markers.....I should be getiing a set for my birthday soon

ooh! yes they are indeed skinny..... O.o i once tried drawing people my size but they turned out prettier than they should've so i think it's fine! i tried drawing very skinny people too! i wish i could upload them...... my stupid scanner's broken..... *kicks scanner and stubs toe* it..t...tai.....*eyes water*

yeah... kishimoto's style is super hard to copy / imitate >_<; but you did a good job anyways =]

Oh they look gorgeous! I love their heads and their skinny!! They're very pretty, and colored so nicely!! I especially love Sakura's face!! Your copic coloring skills are awesome! Very striking.

Since this is for a contest, I'll break out into painful criticisms. Brace ye self dear child!
1) The fingers are too long and rubbery looking, it'd be a good idea to use some straight lines to show there are bones under there
2) Body proportion is a tad too long and stretched out. Sakura's torso is particularly too long, and overall, they'd look more natural with thicker waists, though, I'm not sure how you'd be able to do anything about that 
Ino's clothes is colored very well! As are her hair and eyes

yeahhh, its very bright [too bright! :sunglasses:]. I was worried about it, so I actualy dimmed it down in photoshop...My scanner kind of killed the colors. X3
