Prehistoric World Scene 24
First up at the American Kingdoms exhibit is the Carnotaur Cave, this small cave is where people can view the Carnotaurs from inside a sheltered area.  Inside this cave, there is a small kids dig pit where kids of all ages can try to excavate artificial fossils buried in the sand, just like real paleontologists in Montana.  There is also information about the Carnotaurus and information about fossils when people try the dig pit.  I had always enjoyed the dig pits in museums and zoos when I was younger, my favorite dig pit I tried was at the Field Museum in Chicago, Illinois, where people got to excavate a replica skeleton of Sue the Tyrannosaurus.  However, that dig is gone now, it was only there for a limited time in the year 2007.

There's a dinosaur museum in Utah that has a dig pit.  Reveals a Stegosaurus and Ceratosaurus.

I'm not talking about that museum.  I'm talking about the Museum of Ancient Life at Thanksgiving Point.
