Description: The Komodo Dragon is a large species of monitor lizard that can be found on the islands of Komodo, Rinca, Flores, Gili Motang, and Padar, it is the largest living lizard on the planet, and one of the top predators of their region. This giant lizard gets its name from its most lethal weapon, venom, this saliva was often thought to be a form of toxic saliva, but new studies show that it and other monitor lizards have evolved a form venom glands in the lower jaw that quickly infects the wound the lizard gives by biting its prey, the venom is known to cause rapid swelling, localized disruption of blood clotting, and major pain, while it can be treated, the lethality of the venom depends on the lizards size, the larger the lizard, the deadlier the bite, but some theorize that the venom doesn't do all the work, but the prey usually dies of shock and blood loss quicker than the venom kills the prey. Komodo Dragons usually stay away from human contact, but there have been several Komodo Dragon attacks on humans, while most of them were not fatal, only 5 people have been reported to have been killed by a Komodo Dragon bite, though there have been varied attacks, most of the known Komodo Dragon attacks were unprovoked, this shows that since Komodo Dragons are losing their normal prey due to humans poaching their normal food source, the Komodo Dragons are finding a new food source.

Personal Thoughts: I have seen Komodo Dragons before, but the only ones I've seen were adult females, I haven't seen an adult male in captivity. I do like that Zoo Tycoon 2 kept the Komodo Dragon in the series like in Zoo Tycoon Complete Collection. Even though I'm not a fan of the colors they gave the Komodo Dragon in ZT1 and ZT2, I think this remake fixes that perfectly, plus it has no bugs or glitches and the modeling and textures are accurate compared to the real animal.
