Description: Spinosaurus, the most fearsome of all the theropod dinosaurs, is a large predatory dinosaur that lived during the late Cretaceous Period, 110 million years ago. This crocodile like dinosaur is the largest theropod dinosaur in the world, measuring at up to 49 feet long, bigger than the Tyrannosaurus, big enough to challenge the Carcharodontosaurus, even large enough to take on the largest crocodile to ever live. The Spinosaurus was top of the food chain in the Wetlands of Cretaceous Africa, it would mostly hunt for large fish that lived in the waters of the wetlands, such as Onchopristis and Mawsonia, while competing for food against the Sarcosuchus, Rugops, and it would rarely go up against the Carcharodontosaurus, as the jaws of the land based predator is powerful enough to break the spine of the Spinosaurus, which can be fatal. New discoveries of Spinosaurus show that it had shorter legs than what we previously predicted, there are even theories saying that it could walk on its knuckles with its posture, even the sail on its back had changed with the new discoveries, it has a dip in the sail at the middle top, and new studies show that the Spinosaurus is mostly aquatic, with possibly webbed feet for swimming.
Personal Thoughts: I like both of these, but they are both incorrect, the one on top is based on Jurassic Park Operation Genesis, the one on the bottom is the previous depiction of the Spinosaurus, when someone makes a more accurate version of the Spinosaurus, I will get it immediately. Which one do you like more?
