Mi Swordfighter in Smash
I never use the Mii Fighters. I guess, since they're not really characters, I have no investment in them, but I find them kind of awkward to play as too.
I'm also not a fan of the character customisation in the recent Smash game and since the Miis revolve around customisation I never feel like getting into it and building individual character. Maybe.

Before the game came out I expected you to be able to pick your weapon design independent of your costume, when in fact the two are connected. A shame, since I wanted to find a sword even remotely resembling a letter opener so I could use the Nikki Mii. Since that weapon doesn't exist and I have full control over this project I figured I'd just include it myself (and the appropriate costume.) I'm not dreadfully happy with the liberties I took with the Mii Fighters but I couldn't think of another way to represent them that I really liked.

Now, if we're going to go with Miitopia classes next game (and I think we should,) the obvious stand-in for the Swordfighter is the Warrior.
The Warrior has sword shaped like craft knives and beefy arms. This is what we need in Smash.

I also see the Miitopia Warrior as being on the bulkier side, and if we're going to have another sword use, I think another heavy fighter would be welcome.

And a small mention to the Nikki character, who has been revived into a standalone character, completely separate from Miis, which is good news for her, but I think this is the only way she'll ever be playable in Smash!
