Legion is an old Roman military term for a contingent the thousands. Though considering the powered armored badasses present, it should be sufficient to describe the force with which they will strike.

An 8th Armored Infantry, from the games "Section 8" and "Section 8: Prejudice". Good games! These guys are actually really awesome.
Instead of typical respawning like any other FPS, you get launched from the sky, and you can choose where you want to drop in so long as there's no AA guns. By doing this, you can even crush other players, vehicles, or structures like automated turrets.
Basically all their weapons are railguns, even their pistols. They're pretty hardcore.

Here's a bit of gameplay! The game is $15 if you're interested in trying it out. It's on Steam, XBox Live, and PlayStation Network. Sadly, the servers are no longer available. It was made by TimeGate, and since they're gone now, so is the multiplayer I'm afraid. But, you can still play with bots offline and there's a decent campaign. www.youtube.com/watch?v=n0Pv04β¦

To be honest, Prophet should be the leader
...he's not only fast, strong & near-superhuman
with the Nanosuit 2, but he's also wise!
His experience in fighting the Ceph has made
him one of the most battle-hardened warriors alive.

Therisont In reply to Phil-Mc [2014-06-03 02:36:50 +0000 UTC]
I'd debate it be Chief.
Lead his Spartans to war against the Covenant for 30+ years (a war he personally ended), been training since childhood and still isn't slowing down (he's 47), and he's jumping into another war!
Everyone here accept Isaac is super Human fast and strong, though Chief and Samus are both genetically modified on top of the power armor on top of training since they were toddlers, Samus might be the best at both those though considering her super sonic sprint speeds and enough strength to throw a whale with enough force to cross a football field.

but Prophet however, with every Ceph he kills,
their DNA gets absorbed into the Nanosuit 2, since
the nanosuits were reverse-engineered from Ceph technology.
and as a result, it has not only prolonged his his lifespan
or healed his injuries quickly...but as a side-effect, he's become
more Ceph & the nanites of the suit have become to bond
with his own DNA...on an additional note, he's also tapped
into the Ceph's hivemind; the Alpha Ceph to learn of their secret.
His suit has even evolved to adapt & use Ceph weaponry
for his own use in combat against either CELL or the Ceph.
he's even able to tap into Ceph power sources to overclock
& supercharge his suit to "Maximum" levels. pun intended.
But seriously...on a last note: Prophet, while sucked into space
managed to use a tactical military satellite to fire at a Ceph warship
that had emerged from a wormhole, blew it up & caused the wormhole
to collapse & destroy the other Cephs to be destroyed too.
so technically...Prophet too saved earth! and after crash-landing back
to earth, he awoke in a shack on the Lingshan islands where Crysis & Crysis: Warhead
first began...and as he looked into the mirror, the nanites had completely
fused with him repairing what damaged tissue he had. but that wasn't all
he inherited from the nanites...he also inherited the suit's abilities...namely the cloak ability.

And Chief's activities led to him saving all life in the galaxy, and then the human race from extinction (and probably theΒ subjugation of all other life, if the Didact was to return life to how it was before the flood came and forked things up). But that's not the point, I'm not going by achievement or their their combat ability, if that was the case Samus would be the leader here, but she'd be a TERRIBLE leader. She has no experience at leading, is typically quiet, and is known for insubordination.
And I'm talking about leading experience.
Chief's role among the Spartans WAS being the leader, and did it for 30 years. Even his superiors know to trust him when he decides to do something, those that don't (even those that outrank him), have a tendency to come up on the wrong end of the choice and are stripped of their rank and are showed up by him.
Prophet himself doesn't have the same training or length of experience as a Spartan. And was just a relatively (though good) normal guy before the Nanosuit.
Chief been trained longer, been fighting longer, and lead a team for longer. Spartans in Chief's selection group were all exceptional individuals, Stronger, Faster, and Smarter than anyone in their age group.
All I've got from what you told me, is that if they're fighting Ceph Prophit will eventually surpass Chief since he'll probably live longer.

with the exception of Isaac clark (I haven't played much of dead spaces 1 and 2 and I don't know the lore behind the his suit), this is the most badass team ever.Β wonder what enemy would really challenge them, because there's every role of super soldier in this squad.

Frankly Isaac is the weakest of the bunch combat-wise.
What he has
the Telekinesis module: This is the gravity gun with a few upgrades. So it can be used to manipulate heavy objects, stuff at a distance, or use scrap lying around as weapons by throwing or piercing people with it. So Samus aside he has the least ammo concerns.
Stasis Module: things shot by this get stuck in super slow mo, Also he infinite uses (though has to recharge over time), but just like before, pales to Samus' ice beam since it has infinite ammo AND does damage.
Zero-G movement Systems and magnetic boots: problem is I know chief and Samus have this, and the guy from section 8 probably does too.
Customizable weapons: he's got crazy amount of flexibility when it comes to weapons, since he can tweak them to do a wide variety of things (especially in the 3rd game), but he does have as much curb stomping power as some of the others.
==
Everyone elses armor is powered (increases physical abilities), most of the other have energy shields and thicker/better armor plating.
Not to mention, Chief and Samus are super human even without their armors.
What Isaac does have on his side though is that he has the second most impressive onboard utility, but what REALLY stands out is his ability to make (crazy) weapons with just raw materials and tools, Repair broken equipment (whether it's big machinery or even say his allies equipment). so long as he's got the material, he can keep the others equipment running.
In other words, he's the groups Engineer, but if things get REALLY tough the others are going to have to protect him, he's very squishy in comparison.

I figured he would be the support role of the group.Β don't forget prophet (the Nanosuit guy on the right) can be both stealthy and an in-a-pinch tank. another thingΒ about the section 8 guy.Β his armor system is designed to withstand being dropped from space (or low atmosphere or something, but still being dropped pretty high up) and be ready to fight almost immediately after that.Β I think the others are either dead or are out of the action after that.
master chief in Halo 3 fell from space and nearly died. Β I don't recall samus ever being in that kind of situation so I can't say what happened to her if she did do that.Β the nanosuit doesn't fare well to that kind of drop either.Β Crysis 3's ending showed that (won't go into too much detail as to avoid spoiling the ending).
so yeah, what enemy would challenge them?Β barring some comic book superhero legion, that is.

Samus' armor has been known to shrug off super sonic impacts like nothing (as in she herself moving at super sonic speeds and crashing into/throw objects and walls.), but she's never fallen from orbit. If terminal velocity means anything she'd be just as fine for orbit re-entry as the Section 8 guy.
Otherwise Chief's fallen from orbit twice, and survived, and once from a core of the planet to somewhere relatively "close" to the surface.
Really the only one who can't do big drops is Isaac.
For Stealth, Chief might be able to match Prophet with the Cloak Armor ability. Despite their weight Spartans are known for ghosting entire platoons in no time.
