Description
Fluttershy was having a peaceful evening doing what she loved most. Taking care of all of the animals around her cottage next to the everfree. She fed them and gave them shelter if they ever needed it, she would patch them up and nurse them back to help if they got hurt, and she would always go the extra length to make sure they were as comfortable as possible.

Except, she was finding it difficult to keep up the past few days. Out of nowhere, many animals big and small, flooded to her house out of fear. Fluttershy wasn’t quite sure what it was, but if it didn’t go away soon, Fluttershy would have quite a problem on her hooves.

She tried thinking of what could cause such a problem, one of those being a dragon. She shuddered at the thought and had to remind herself that she had dealt with a dragon before, and that everything would be fine. If the problem continued, she could always talk to her friend Twilight.

After a busy day if taking care of the frightened animals and making a trip into town to pick up some extra food, Fluttershy was thankful that the day was finally coming to an end. She started settling the animals down, starting with the big animals and working her way down to the smaller ones.

When they were all comfortably settled in, Fluttershy could start getting ready for bed herself. She had herself a shower, brushed her teeth and double checked on Angel bunny before getting into bed. She fell asleep thinking about what could be causing so much trouble in the everfree, unaware that she was about to get a first hand experience.

Fluttershy started to wake up because of the uncomfortable position she was lying in. Usually she slept on her side curled up in a little ball, but she felt as if she was laying on her back with her hooves spread out. Feeling slightly exposed, she tried to move to her usual position, except she realised that she couldn't. Noticing that something was wrong she instantly opened her eyes, only to have them burn from the bright light that they were exposed to.

Fluttershy let them adjust to the brightness before looking around to see what was going on. She first noticed that she wasn’t in her cabin anymore, and that her hooves were indeed bounding her to some table. Her first action was to start hyperventilating.

“Where am I? Whats going on?” She squeaked in between gasps.

After 5 minutes of that not working, Fluttershy thought that maybe another plan would be a good idea.

“Okay Fluttershy, it looks like your” *gulp* “alone on this one?” She nervously reflected. “What would Rainbow Dash do?”

Fluttershy then thought she should probably look around. She could see that she was strapped to a table in the center of a metal looking room. There didn’t seem to be an immediate way out. She could also see a mirror to her left.

“How strange, why would there need to be a mirror in here?” Fluttershy questioned.

While Fluttershy was looking at herself in the mirror, a part of the wall in front of her gave away to reveal a strange creature walking a cart in.

“EEP!” She eeped.

Looking at the creature, Fluttershy was both terrified and amazed at the same time. Never in her life had she seen something like it before. It appeared to be the height of a small diamond dog. It had long arms large black eyes and grey skin that made Fluttershy wonder if the creature was feeling alright.

While she was distracted observing the creature, it had taken out a tablet and used it to see if Fluttershy was a healthy specimen, waving it over her midsection a few times. Happy with the state of her internal organs, the creature put the tablet back and grabbed a thin rod used for examination.

Fluttershy was so caught up in observing the creature that she didn’t notice the creature sticking the metal rod into her belly button. On contact, she loudly eeped again.

“What’s it doing? What does it expect to find?” She asked herself, to scared to ask the creature.

Fluttershy had played with her navel before, but she was never able to do much with just her hooves. Now the creature seemed to be touching every spot of her sensitive belly button. Adding pressure to spots Fluttershy could have never reached on her own. Fluttershy was embarrassed to to even think it, but she might of actually been enjoying it a little. Besides the whole kidnapped by a strange creature part.

When the creature was done with the rod, Fluttershy found herself relieved and a little disappointed at the same time. While she was thinking about the sensation she just had, the creature turned around to grab a jar off the cart. What was inside got Fluttershy’s attention again.

It was some strange bug looking thing, except it was completely robotic. It had many thin tendrils and a long thin tail. Fluttershy stared at it inquisitively trying to figure out what it could be for. Up until the creature held it above her bellybutton and she put 2 and 2 together.

When the creature dropped the bug on her belly, Fluttershy tried to scream, but was paralyzed in fear. As she predicted, the bug went straight for her bellybutton and stuck its tendrils in.

Fluttershy could feel as the bug started to untie the knot in the unfamiliar part of her belly button. She could feel tendrils being inserted in different places and feel them moving around in her bellybutton to uncover the hidden path into her body. She could feel them finally untie her navel knot and stretch it open enough to slide in. It had started to wiggle its head in when Fluttershy felt the bug being yanked out of her bellybutton. She felt it try to grab hold of her, but it was no match for whatever was pulling it out.

For a second, Fluttershy thought she was being rescued, but when she looked up, she saw another creature putting the bug back in its jar. Fluttershy was confused yet very thankful. She thought about thanking the other creature, but decided to stay quiet and observe. They seemed to just stare at each other, neither saying anything.

“Maybe they can talk telepathically, I’ve heard of some skilled unicorns being able to do that.” She concluded.

After a few more awkward seconds, the first creature stepped back and let the other creature start to roll Fluttershy’s table out of the room. When they started moving, Fluttershy froze out of fear again, not sure if they were going to set her free, or something else.

While she was being wheeled down a hallway looking similar to the room she was in. She swore she heard a pony that sounded like Rainbow Dash scream “Eureka”.

“Rainb-” Fluttershy started before the creature put its cold hand over her mouth and started walking faster. Apparently the creature heard it too.

Upon arriving in a new room, the creature finally took its hand away from Fluttershy’s mouth and walked off to a different part of the room. What Fluttershy saw next sent shivers down her spine. In front of her were several screens showing pictures of her taking care of various kinds of animals. She became lost in her own thoughts of why the creatures were spying on her, and only on this particular activity.

Fluttershy then noticed that the creature was coming back with another jar. This one also containing a bug inside of it. This one was bigger, had no eyes, and wasn’t a robot like the last one. It had a black body at least 8 inches long and had a body about 3 times as thick as the previous bug. It had tendrils on its side and some smaller ones on its face, but under its head it had 2 stronger arms that looked like they were for prying things open. Lastly, after its mid section, it was covered by a see through skin that showed that the bug had dozens, maybe hundreds of eggs in its belly.

Once placed on Fluttershy’s belly, it stuck its head in the air and appeared to be sniffing.

Seeing no other option, Fluttershy started wiggling her belly around, trying to get it off her, maybe even scare it. Upon feeling the movements, the bug grabbed hold of Fluttershy’s belly and cautiously crawled toward her navel. Fluttershy closed her eyes and winced in preparation for what was about to happen.

When reaching her belly button, the blind bug stuck its face tendrils into her navel to look for the knot. It started wiggling them around, feeling the soft inside of Fluttershy’s navel,following the grooves that would lead to her navel knot. When it found it, the bug noticed that it had already been untied and decided to try to squeeze in right then and there. Making Fluttershy wince harder and groan at the discomfort. When the bug didn’t fit, it pulled its head out and placed its two arms in the opening of Fluttershy’s belly button. Then with all its might, It started pulling Fluttershy’s navel open. Eliciting a painful scream from the pegasus.

After opening her belly button up enough for its head, the bug slid its arms inside to get a better grip so it could pull its way through. Though because the rest of its body is thicker than its head, it was still stretching Fluttershy’s navel open to painful extremes. Not being able to do much more, Fluttershy continued to shake her belly and groan in pain.

Tears started to roll down Fluttershy’s face as she felt the bug stretch and press past the sensitive and untouched parts of her belly button. Looking down, she saw that the only part left was the belly that was filled with eggs. This brought the horrible conclusion to Fluttershy that there were going to be more of these things and that she could possibly bring this pain to anypony else.

During its final pull to get its large belly in, Fluttershy let out one final scream until the bug was completely inside her. Fluttershy could see the bug bulging around inside her before nestling somewhere inside her gut and calming down. After she felt the bug stop moving, she put her head down and passed out due to the relief of her navel not being stretched anymore.

The next morning, Fluttershy groaned while waking up. She was groaning from a massive stomach ache she had gotten.

“Oh no, what a terrible time to get sick.” She thought out loud while clutching her aching belly. “I still need to care for the animals.”

While clutching her belly, Fluttershy felt something crusty. Upon looking down, she saw a dried blood trail leading from her navel down to a puddle on her bed.

Fluttershy went into full panic mode. In miliseconds, she had gotten out of bed and was heading down her stairs. When she made it to the bottom, she came face to face with a grumpy looking Angel. At least he was grumpy, until he looked to Fluttershy’s belly and saw she was injured.

“I’m sorry Angel, but I don’t think I’ll be able to feed you yet, I need to go see a doctor.” Fluttershy said apologetically.

As soon as Fluttershy was finished speaking, Angel zoomed off and came back with a first aid kit.

“That's a nice gesture Angel, but i think this is more serious. I think I really need a doctor for this.” Fluttershy calmly explained. “I’ll be sure to send someone to feed you.”

Angel understood and nodded his head in agreement before letting Fluttershy continue to the hospital.

The first thing Fluttershy noticed on her way out was that most of the animals had taken off at some point. Indicating that something serious must of happened. While pondering this, Fluttershy walked right into the town mailmare.

“Oof… oh, hey Fluttershy, I got this letter From Princess Twilight that I was supposed to deliver to you.” Derpy said cheerfully. “Apparently it’s pretty imp-HOLY Celestia! Are you okay?!” Derpy yelled, noticing Fluttershy’s belly.

“Oh dear.” Fluttershy said quietly, realizing she had spooked the wall eyed pegasus. “I’m sorry, I was going to the hospital to get this checked out.”

“Fluttershy please, there is no reason for you to be apologising.” Derpy said softly. “Now is there anyway I can help you.”

Back at Twilight's Castle, she and Rainbow Dash were eating some oats while waiting for Fluttershy. Suddenly there was a knock on the door.

“I’ll get it.” Twilight said, noticing Rainbow Dash looked ready to pass out into her food.

“Hello?” Twilight asked while coming face to face with a nervous looking Derpy. “Did you get that letter to Fluttershy?”

“Fluttershy’s in the hospital!” Derpy said quickly.

“What?” Twilight responded. “What happened?!”

“I don’t really know. I went to deliver her your letter, when I ran into her. I noticed she had been bleeding from her belly button, I think. So I took her to the hospital.” Derpy explained.

Twilight was shocked at the mention of Fluttershy’s belly button. “I wonder if it has anything to do with my dream last night, It's too strange to be a coincidence.”

“Thank you Derpy, we’ll head over right away. I’ll also include a nice tip, and a pardon so your boss doesn’t get on your case for being late.” Twilight smiled.

“Thanks Princess.” Derpy cracked a smile. “Oh, by the way. I’m heading over to feed Fluttershy’s pets. Just in case she asks.”

When done speaking to Derpy, Twilight grabbed Dash and headed straight towards the Ponyville Hospital. They got the room number from the receptionist and made their way to Fluttershy’s room. They opened the door to see Fluttershy in a hospital gown greeting them with a smile.

“Hey girls.” Fluttershy greets them as they come in.

“Are you okay?! Where you attacked?!”
“We were worried sick about you!” Twilight and Dash asked at the same time.

“I’m not too sure, I went to bed without the injuries to my belly, and just woke up with them.” Fluttershy explained while lifting up her hospital gown to reveal a slightly swollen gut and a cotton ball taped inside her belly button. “The good news is the doctor said he couldn't find anything serious, so I can leave whenever I’m ready.”

“Weird night for you to huh, Shy. Last night I managed to lose 3 hours, but yours sounds a lot more exciting.” Rainbow Dash chuckled.

Twilight's ears perked up at this, she realised that all three of them had weird nights and at least Two of them were connected via belly buttons. So she decided to ask Dash.

“Was your belly button sore after?” Twilight asked with a worried expression on her face.

“What? I don’t know. I guess, now that you mention it.” Rainbow Dash explained, looking confused. “Why?”

“We all need to get back to my place as soon as possible! I think all our bizarre nights are connected, but we need to go back to my place to be sure!” Twilight urgently explained. “Fluttershy, you said you can leave whenever right?”

“Well yes but,” Fluttershy started saying before being teleported to Twilight’s castle. “I should sign out first.” She finished silently.

Twilight’s first order of business was to tell Spike she was going to be busy with Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy and gave him the day off. Next, she brought Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy to a room that resembled her old lab and had them sit down.

“Okay, Now can you tell us what's up Twi. You're getting all jittery, and it's starting to freak us out.” Rainbow Dash told Twilight while Fluttershy nodded.

Twilight took a deep breath. “Last night I had a vivid dream that I was abducted by some strange creature. He gave me some weird examination and then let some weird bug crawl into my belly button. Then when I woke up,I noticed that my belly button was actually sore. I didn’t pay much attention to it, thinking that it could be physical strain from the day before. But when I heard what happened to Fluttershy, I had a nagging suspicion that maybe my dream wasn’t really a dream after all. That's why I asked if your belly button was sore to Rainbow Dash. After hearing you lost a couple hours and seeing you in what appears to be a completely drugged state, my suspicions only grew stronger.” She stated, gasping for air.

“Oh my, That's a lot to take in.” Fluttershy commented.

“No kidding, you realize how crazy this sounds Twi?” Dash questioned.

“Of course, but just think about it. We all had strange experiences last night, not to mention all the weird stuff that's been happening in the everfree already. I’m just worried that they're all connected and that something could have happened to us last night. So please. Just hear me out and let me examine all of us to see if I can get some answers.” Twilight pleated.

“I’ll do it.” Fluttershy said confidently. “If it’ll help, I’ll do whatever I can.”

Fluttershy and Twilight both looked at Rainbow Dash.

“Okay fine.” Rainbow Dash shrugged. “I guess me being this tired all of a sudden is kinda weird. But what do you mean by ‘examination’.”

“I just want to check all of our bellies and belly buttons. In my dream, one of the creatures used some device to see inside me. If I use a spell, I can look inside us and maybe find out why.” Twilight explained.

Twilight decided to try the same examination the creature used on her to examine all of them. Except instead of a metal rod poking around inside their navels, Twilight gently used magic to see if they were damaged at all. After noting down what she found, excluding Fluttershy’s blushing, she found out that they all had similar injuries on their navels. Especially Fluttershy.

She then went on to use magic to see inside all of their bellies. By the end, she had a worried look on her face.

“Well... spit it out.” Rainbow Dash told Twilight with a hint of worry in her voice.

“*Sigh* I’m afraid to say I was right, we all currently have something living inside us.” Twilight explained, looking down at the ground.

“One of the major things I’ve noticed is that we all have a different creature that do different things. Rainbow Dash, yours is located under your stomach and is pumping a drug into you. Presumably to keep you from being too much trouble. Fluttershy, yours is staying somewhere in between your intestines. It seems to be carrying eggs that will hatch and go off to find other ponies. I’m not quite sure what mine does, but it's robotic, so it maybe a tracking device. She concluded.

“I don’t really know. I went to deliver her your letter, when I ran into her. I noticed she had been bleeding from her belly button, I think. So I took her to the hospital.” Derpy explained.

Twilight was shocked at the mention of Fluttershy’s belly button. “I wonder if it has anything to do with my dream last night, It's too strange to be a coincidence.”

“Thank you Derpy, we’ll head over right away. I’ll also include a nice tip, and a pardon so your boss doesn’t get on your case for being late.” Twilight smiled.

“Thanks Princess.” Derpy cracked a smile. “Oh, by the way. I’m heading over to feed Fluttershy’s pets. Just in case she asks.”

When done speaking to Derpy, Twilight grabbed Dash and headed straight towards the Ponyville Hospital. They got the room number from the receptionist and made their way to Fluttershy’s room. They opened the door to see Fluttershy in a hospital gown greeting them with a smile.

“Hey girls.” Fluttershy greets them as they come in.

“Are you okay?! Where you attacked?!”
“We were worried sick about you!” Twilight and Dash asked at the same time.

“I’m not too sure, I went to bed without the injuries to my belly, and just woke up with them.” Fluttershy explained while lifting up her hospital gown to reveal a slightly swollen gut and a cotton ball taped inside her belly button. “The good news is the doctor said he couldn't find anything serious, so I can leave whenever I’m ready.”

“Weird night for you to huh, Shy. Last night I managed to lose 3 hours, but yours sounds a lot more exciting.” Rainbow Dash chuckled.

Twilight's ears perked up at this, she realised that all three of them had weird nights and at least Two of them were connected via belly buttons. So she decided to ask Dash.

“Was your belly button sore after?” Twilight asked with a worried expression on her face.

“What? I don’t know. I guess, now that you mention it.” Rainbow Dash explained, looking confused. “Why?”

“We all need to get back to my place as soon as possible! I think all our bizarre nights are connected, but we need to go back to my place to be sure!” Twilight urgently explained. “Fluttershy, you said you can leave whenever right?”

“Well yes but,” Fluttershy started saying before being teleported to Twilight’s castle. “I should sign out first.” She finished silently.

Twilight’s first order of business was to tell Spike she was going to be busy with Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy and gave him the day off. Next, she brought Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy to a room that resembled her old lab and had them sit down.

“Okay, Now can you tell us what's up Twi. You're getting all jittery, and it's starting to freak us out.” Rainbow Dash told Twilight while Fluttershy nodded.

Twilight took a deep breath. “Last night I had a vivid dream that I was abducted by some strange creature. He gave me some weird examination and then let some weird bug crawl into my belly button. Then when I woke up,I noticed that my belly button was actually sore. I didn’t pay much attention to it, thinking that it could be physical strain from the day before. But when I heard what happened to Fluttershy, I had a nagging suspicion that maybe my dream wasn’t really a dream after all. That's why I asked if your belly button was sore to Rainbow Dash. After hearing you lost a couple hours and seeing you in what appears to be a completely drugged state, my suspicions only grew stronger.” She stated, gasping for air.

“Oh my, That's a lot to take in.” Fluttershy commented.

“No kidding, you realize how crazy this sounds Twi?” Dash questioned.

“Of course, but just think about it. We all had strange experiences last night, not to mention all the weird stuff that's been happening in the everfree already. I’m just worried that they're all connected and that something could have happened to us last night. So please. Just hear me out and let me examine all of us to see if I can get some answers.” Twilight pleated.

“I’ll do it.” Fluttershy said confidently. “If it’ll help, I’ll do whatever I can.”

Fluttershy and Twilight both looked at Rainbow Dash.

“Okay fine.” Rainbow Dash shrugged. “I guess me being this tired all of a sudden is kinda weird. But what do you mean by ‘examination’.”

“I just want to check all of our bellies and belly buttons. In my dream, one of the creatures used some device to see inside me. If I use a spell, I can look inside us and maybe find out why.” Twilight explained.

Twilight decided to try the same examination the creature used on her to examine all of them. Except instead of a metal rod poking around inside their navels, Twilight gently used magic to see if they were damaged at all. After noting down what she found, excluding Fluttershy’s blushing, she found out that they all had similar injuries on their navels. Especially Fluttershy.

She then went on to use magic to see inside all of their bellies. By the end, she had a worried look on her face.

“Well... spit it out.” Rainbow Dash told Twilight with a hint of worry in her voice.

“*Sigh* I’m afraid to say I was right, we all currently have something living inside us.” Twilight explained, looking down at the ground.

“One of the major things I’ve noticed is that we all have a different creature that do different things. Rainbow Dash, yours is located under your stomach and is pumping a drug into you. Presumably to keep you from being too much trouble. Fluttershy, yours is staying somewhere in between your intestines. It seems to be carrying eggs that will hatch and go off to find other ponies. I’m not quite sure what mine does, but it's robotic, so it maybe a tracking device. She concluded.

Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash looked at each other with worried expressions, then back at Twilight. But then Twilight lifted her head to reveal a small smile forming on the side of her mouth.

“But I think I know how to get these things out of us.”
