It all started with the attack of the Storm King... no, let me start with something even more ancient. It all started with my hyppogriff parents. Since hyppogriffs are half mammal and half bird, there are two ways to have children, I think you'll understand. Sexual intercourse, or egg laying. Although the former takes priority and most have no experience with the latter. My parents tried the first way, but it was unsuccessful no matter how hard they tried, so they turned to Queen Novo for help. She "reminded" them of the second way, but there are certain pitfalls in that, this method is more complicated. But by chance, everything went smoothly until the King Storm attacked. Panic, turmoil began, and it so happened that the egg fell into the water, the parents tried to save it, but unfortunately, they failed because the storm continued. By the will of the ocean and fate, the egg swam safely to the other shore only from the side of Equestria, where while I was in the egg I was cared for by the birds of the forest, who took it as their own, but when I had already hatched, I was already found in the forest by ponies, who took me to the shelter, because I looked like a pony.
Many years later I grew up, though I was not like everyone else, but I was looked after, though there was a certain "alienation", and children always disliked others, from this I had complexes and squads about being different, and always wanted to be like everyone else. Once when I was walking in the woods and found some pentestal with nothing on it, and when I turned around I was attacked by a raptor, yet it did not attack but watched, it got scared of something it turned into a bird and flew away. But then he flew to me when I was walking in the woods again, I recognized him by the amulet he had around his neck, as in Equestria animals understood, I was able to somehow beg him to give the amulet, and I had to give him nuts, when he took off. the amulet, he turned into a squirrel and started eating nuts, and I took away the amulet. Then after of a lot of thinking, hesitation and doubt, I decided to wear it, but nothing happened. I decided to wear it because it was beautiful, and I went to bed with it with my thoughts that I wanted to be like everyone else and not stand out in anything. And the next day it did. The amulet turned me into an ordinary pony on the outside, but I didn't change on the inside.

The amulet was designed as a prison for a powerful shapeshifting demon, named Gea.
This demon was being freed from the amulet by Thunder Blight, whilst it was in the possesion of Deo. Whilst Thunder Blight was separating Deo and Gea, I interfered and stopped the complete separation. This meant that Gea was now free, but without her powers.
These powers are still in the amulet and are slowly becoming more difficult to control. When Deo's not in control the amulet takes over her body, in search for it's rightful owner.
Gea can connect with the amulet when meditating, and is guiding "Deo" to her. Those "blackouts" as Deo calls them are getting longer and longer. The amulet plays it off as 'multiple personality disorder', and it's very convincing to all equestrians, but Foxy and I notice and worry.
We're spying on Deo when she's this alterego, 'Ghost', as it calls itself. Now she hasn't swapped in months, but Ghost is just gathering strength for a long looong trip.
