NOTE: PLEASE DO NOT FAV MY DEVIATION WITHOUT A COMMENT, I GREATLY PREFER COMMENTS THAT FAVS!Well it's finally completed the first Iron Guard squad that will represent either necron warriors or pink horrors.
As you can see I've added a lot more movement to them than the original model. But I still feel that the paint job needs something?

blue ink mixed with boltgun metal, I'm thinking about building a 2nd batch with bolters to use as Legio Cybernetica robots for my thousand sons which will be a lot better painted.

It's made from the following components...
Main Body - Old Epic Knight Titan
Upper Legs - Necron Warrior Legs
Lower Arms - Shortened Necron Gauss Blasters
Head - Cadian Helmet with the tip of a Tau Pulse Rifle.

might i give a lil suggestion bout what the paintjob might need? you could make the blue generatorparts of the weapons glow at the surrounding parts, and/or u could give their fronstides a look of dust and ashes, like they would have simply walked through the enemy lines getting covered in burned infantry

You'll find it very difficult as one bit is very rare...
Necron weapons and legs,
guardsmen helmet with tau rifle tip,
and the very old epic knight model.

I think i could do it, if i replaced the knight parts with chaos terminator parts. they have the same kind of raised edging. just gotta scrape all the chaos off

Ok, these guys look great man. As for the paint job, its great as well, but I think I know what its missing: unit markings. There are no markings on these guys at all, and thus they are visually bland as you only used variations of two colors (ie: silver and blue) with the exception of the eyes. I'd experiment with different colors for the markings, my personal suggestions are white red or yellow, and with different types of markings, I'd suggest bar code strips or dots of binary code. Again, test these ideas out and see what you come up with.
But yeah, so far they look great. What will you do for your icons?

I've got unit markings sorted, they'll each have a attachment on the left shoulder: scanner, light, generator. I'll add these at the end sorting them into squads based on quality like my grots.

Fuckin epic u did a full squad. As for the colours personally i think they're awesome already but if u think they need something then quite possibally another variable. Ie: a new colour instead of two main colours have a third but marginalize it, u know only use it as an outline around the shoulder pads.

They look quite impressive. You might want to consider swapping the blue on the guns for a different color if you think the paint job needs something. I rather like them as is though.
