Got to agree with parkertrotter - the casualness of the squad leader works well for him giving the impression that he has so much raw power that he doesn't need to pay much attention to the battle raging around him.

I feel the leader fits perfectly into the occult idea. Almost like the enemy is just a mild annoyance between him and his research. nice

might i say a) they look great bur b) i think it would look even better if the squad leader would rise his staff a little pointing a bit foreward while reading, i think that would look more like a psyker whos reading the spell out directly from the tomb while he's directing it twars the target
