So this picture has a really great story...

making it short: My friend and new roommate( ) made me laugh after a rough day...

longer version: So this morning we were told we could move into our new apartment at 10, so we go in at 11 and the manager we've been talking to for several weeks (and having nothing but problems with) isn't there... uh, ok... So we talk to someone else, who tells us that our paperwork isn't in order...we were supposed to sign it with 3 people, all present, but since our third roommate is out of state right now we had to re-do the lease with just the 2 of us (that's the short version of that story too, but keep it in mind), so come back in an hour. OK... so we do... so at 12:30 we return, only to be diverted to the other manager on duty (not the one we've been working with) and he tells us he can get us situated, but that the first manager had done things incorrectly, and he would have to basically trick the computer system to let us in. So finally, at 1:30, we are finally situated and sign the lease. We ask how we go about getting our 3rd roommate on the lease when she returns... The manager informs us that they will re-draft the lease, and we can all just come in at our own convenience to sign it... what?! So to sign it the first time we all had to be there at the same time, but now you're telling us we can come it at separate times for the new one? Yeah, I already just love our apartment leasing company...
Then, I called before I left AL to make sure I'd be able to transfer my internet to my new place, only to call and find out the provider I wanted to use (and already had all the installation stuff for, so no fees or anything for transferring) isn't available at my apartment. So I had to call another provider, who won't be able to come install it until tomorrow. So yay for restaurants that have wireless internet!
So after all that, I go to take my picture for the day and my roomie walks into the living room to see me taking pics with my remote and we both had a little laugh after quite the stressful day. And this is where my TV will go in the new apartment, it's a little nook that'll be just perfect for it! (And the apartment, despite the management company, is really fabulous!!)
