I can imagine something like this making a giant honking noise if it ever jumps into action.... and the voice would have to bee squeaky, just to contrast that whole thing about the reapers xD

Clearly an anti-aircraft weapon since all his armor plating faces upwards. Considering his size, probably to fight off orbital threats. His design suggests that if a ship reaches ground and gets underneath him, the fight was already over.
