Description

Since I had this drawn, I figured I might as well post it. Think of it as a legend for my OKGOOSE drawings, since I draw all the members as birds.

I suppose I should stop explaining that I'm not fluid with drawing humans and actually practice, but *cough* in the meantime..

Damian Kulash Jr: Damian is a seagull. I while ago I started calling OK Go the Jonathan Livingston Seagulls of the modern music industry, and the association stuck. He's a Glaucous Gull, and the yellow wingtips are a nod to his distant Polish heritage. (Explanation ) His gull form also doubles as an OC of mine.

Tim Nordwind: In many of OK Go's videos, each member of the band wears a designated colour. While these colour assignments change from video to video, Tim often wears pink. So, I made him the pinkest of the parrots, the Galah. I drew a lot of parrots back in middle school, so it's a nice throwback.

Andy Ross: AKA A-Ross, The Sauce, Secret Dakota Ring and / or Rusty; Fluffball to me. OK Go's main guitarist, live keyboardist and resident coder / techy. He's more on the quiet side. Secret Dakota Ring is the name of his solo effort, which, try as a I may, I cannot take seriously. I figured Nightjar would be a suitable choice, until I realized Nightjars are probably the least anthro-friendly birds out there.

Dan Konopka: I don't give this guy enough cred. I suppose drummers are often overlooked... maybe that's why I assigned him the American Bittern, which I've often viewed as the most drab of the waterbirds. I have had a couple Bittern OCs over the years, though. I suppose Dan holds the band together. He made the remix in their Red Star Macalline commercial.
