How bout this -
On a trip with her father to a remote island off the coast Azula wandered off to explore the lands. Her father was there for business, but Azula was there for experience. She found it boring and droning to have to listen to her father make deals and plans with other stuffy old men, she knew it would probably be important to listen so she would be prepared when entering the family business but at the moment she didn't quite care. Especially with a beautiful open wonderland right out her window......
