Vaporeon Model Animation And Texture!I love this design by the big homie SoupAndButter . I know you guys have seen his work, hes the one that did the Poliwrath eating its baby lol. He's been killin the game for a minute now and his work has been a big inspiration to me without even knowing all the work was from the same guy, hes that versatile!
Anyway this is a rig I did a long time ago just never got it posted up, just a run and a swim cycle with the texture and normal map in the background. I know it don't look exactly like Soup's design and that its boxy in a lot of areas but I was trying to keep it low poly without retopologizing (I hate retopologizing). Here go SB's original design.

Even if it's not as cute as I hoped, if a Vaporeon were to exist in real life it would probably look like this. It looks amazing, don't get me wrong, but I just kinda hoped on the inside it would be a bit more canine to be more pet compatible. Still, if I ever get the chance in some ridiculous manner, I would get a vaporeon even if it costed billions for genetic research and alterations

Prox, diggit, on my mama I was just went in on writing you a big o breakdown of how I get down when my firefox crashed out on me! I was like 5 paragraphs in and it was some of the best writing I ever done in my life, yeah there was a lot of grammar errors but my high school english teacher would have fallin in love with me for it. Main thing that I'm trying to say is that I'm flattered and really appreciate the lov. Oh sh*t! Yo, oma big fan of yours man! I didn't know if it would be okay but I'm real happy you approve of the piece, I love your work. And I didn't know when I did them but I think I have other models based off your designs and I just wanted to make sure you got credited for the inspiration. I did alter some things just so I could keep the poly count lower but the design came straight from your works. Thank you so much for the complement Soup, I might put a lil clip of the game up on here if I can get the video to play on DA so you can get an idea of how it looks in a complete package.

My zbrush skills are very VERY mediocre at best lol but yeah, no doubt, I can try to point you in a direction. I started years ago before everything was just there for you on youtube (so i have actual books and stuff like that lol), but I do remember one tutorial on youtube I seen that got me up and moving with the basics with out being to complicated.

Its a much older zbrush tutorial but the basic stuff still applies to all of them, Once you get that stuff down it makes it easier to work your way through all the new stuff zbrush has. If your not worried about using your sculpt for any animations or anything then a video like this is right where you want to be, but once you get started it gets dumb easy, trust.
I hope this helps and if you have any questions you think I can answer or give you a hand with let me know. Oh and you can also check out zbrush central galleries if you want to get some ideas of what some people do with it. I don't go there no more cus it makes me depressed lol, but they got some real helpful people on there too that give a lot of good information

I always check zbrush galleries (as I do check digital paintings of pro artists, and yeah I feel depressed as well everytime I see those amazing works, but it motivates me at the same time!), what I really need is, how to get started xd I think everyone can reach that professional level with practise, but the hard part is...to get started! xd I'm sure you're gonna be a professional soon (even if in my eyes your work looks quite professionally already!)

I feel the same, with enough time and practice I think anyone can do those amazing pieces that they have in those professional galleries, you just gotta be able to make the time to perfect your craft.
