ChangeFlint is…
Street side shadows fade into night.
These same shadows also hide from light.
Darting back between the streets.
Some of these shadows linger,
Like beats.
Slowly drifting through the night
Reverberating through needles and teeth
Souls alike all reach out and cry for,
Light… Flight… two simple words.
The, musical notes floatin around
Fly faster now don’t touch the ground
Like bad sauerkraut, chili, the runs
We move faster now, still reachin for
SUN…
Itchin, Scratchin, Bitin, Fightin
tooth and nail to leave the Hell
That they call, Flint… yet, we shun this.
But, Slowly changing, changing, Turn,
turn, Turning for better.
Fathers not scared but now more aware of,
The turmoil that, they create, they now,
Open the gate, and open arms to protect they sons from harm… their daughters too.
Ta, make it better, maybe try and change The weather,
but; if we don’t all try it won’t get better.
