I don't think so. Although shells can be weird to focus on because of their curved shape.

Not bad at all, I like it! The effect is a good one, and the ice adds some nice texture to the overall photo. Depth of field is good, and it's well-framed. How did you get all the bubbles in the ice? It makes for a lot more detail. Also, did you use a blue gell for the colour, or is there just that much ice there?

Thanks! I'm not sure how or why the bubbles got in there. It just sat in my freezer for a couple months (I didn't know what to do with it and sort of forgot about it). The blue is a combination of the lighting and settings I used.
