I absolutely love - no really, I woke up my household squealing when I saw this series - this series, but Soldier was my biggest disappointment. I wish she was a bit beefier - not Heavy beefy, but somewhere between this and Heavy.
I love that you didn't emphasize her breasts or hips at all though. It gives her a definite feel of muscular and ready to get to business.

I wish I had the time to remake all of them, I think I would be more confident right now with the stylisation than I was a year ago!
ALTHOUGH I purposefully gave that soldier a skinny/sassy look (way more than the other classes), I thought it would make a cool contrast with the original character.

Stumbled around over your TF2 art and I have to say I do love the designs,especially Spy's one,they are brilliant. The design still shows that it is a TF2 chacracter but even the little bits that are added give a little extra to that character BUT.. but there's something that quite pesters me when it comes to Pyro and the Soldier,the most.Every body has it's own format and silhouette but,to me,the Soldier seems too incredibly skinny.You would think that after all the time she carries that rocket launcher,and the strength it takes for her to handle it around,she'd have a different format or at least a some muscles.I hope you won't take this in a bad way because it is not intended to offend and I'd like to hear your say on it.

Yeah, I know haha. Actually, I deliberately made that soldier super skinny and derpy/sassy to annoy the people constantly asking for more realistic body types, when I was having a really hard time trying to make something practical but still feminine and original. I think it's the only one in the whole set that is flat out ridiculous, and I liked that weak body/tough weapon contrast (quite a manga clichΓ© but hey, guilty pleasure! 
As far as the other classes are concerned, including the pyro you mentioned, I think they're alright (Although I'll agree with the lack of diversification in the silhouettes for the sake of Character Design). Let's be honest, the really tough people in reality aren't all that muscular looking. There's a big difference between body building/athlete body types (The "Let's work out in a gymnasium all day and eat steroids" type), and the actual hardened and tough people (The labor work type). That's particularly obvious among the military people (Have a look really [link] ). The vast majority doesn't fit the retarded muscle-mountain grunt clichΓ©.
