I really want to drop a Duke Nukem: '****, I'm good', but that's not my style. Cuz, this is like a new record, if I had records. It's not often I go from New Game > Purchase > Learn New Extraction Method > Render in 48 Hours or so.

So what is this about? Well, if you haven't heard there's a new game, Everreach: Project Eden. It's got some Mass Effect lite kind of vibes as an Action RPG, it's a budget title made by an indie studio. I'm always game for trying new colorful, sci-fi experiences, especially if they aren't garbage grind fests. I've only played it a little so far, but other than it being a little rough around the edges, I like it. Doesn't hurt that the leading lady resembles a favorite Ghost of mine. No, I'm not on the payroll, but I sure would like to see more games like this succeed. store.steampowered.com/app/915…

Naturally, I looked at the data not long after purchase, and discovered it was built on Unity. Never successfully extracted from Unity before, but thankfully it was quite simple. I had to dig through the files and did eventually find them. The great thing was Nora was built of a DAZ format which meant it was easy for me to update assets. I was only able to get OBJ's from the data, but with a little Proto-magic, she's now rigged along with my usual stuff.
