Synopsis:
In the aftermath of King Andrias's betrayal, Anne Boonchuy finds herself stranded- not on Earth or Amphibia, but in a certain mushroom-filled world. With the Plantars missing and the odds of stopping Andrias appearing ever more slim, Anne is on the verge of losing hope... until she meets and befriends Sonic the Hedgehog. She soon finds herself entangled in a new quest, finding powerful allies and dangerous new foes along the way.

Will Anne be able to overcome her most dangerous enemy yet and return to Amphibia?

Here's a poster for "Calamity Interlopers", my revised new idea for an Amphibia/Super Mario Bros. Z crossover! This would pick up immediately after "True Colors", seeing Anne and the Plantars confront foes such as Bowser, Eggman, and Turbo Mecha Sonic. This also serves as a modified version of my "Trifecta" AU idea.

Of course, I know this won't possibly match up to the masterpieces that both of these series are. I just wanted to express my love for both series through this crossover!

Some other important things to note:
- Marcy and Sasha's fates remain the same as in canon... for now.
- This AU will have a focus on Anne's growing friendship with Sonic, as well as her animosity with Mecha Sonic. However, this doesn't necessarily mean that Mario, Shadow, the Plantars, etc., will be completely sidelined!
- If I make a full fanfic for this AU, it would take place at the same time as canon Season 3A of Amphibia (and partly replacing it).
