Okay, I've got here some sketch I forgot to post. Anyway I ain't sure I can explain it.
It's the parson from our story, having serious talk.
Usually it's very loud happy giant man who rejoices like a kid, but not this moment.
He's saying what nothing can really confront the God, or something like that.
(And yep, he has a bruise under his eye, remember he loves to kick asses.)

The parson wasn't looking at the desecrated Crucifixion, but he was still seeing it.
And he was seeing the city, which consists of so many dissonant things. And he
was seeing grandma Tikky. Father Prancer looked up at Nora and said quietly:
"What is on earth the laugh of very old fool and clods of the mud on His face?"
