Basically, in Megaman 8, Megaman refers to Bass as "Bahss" as in bass fish. Most people think it was an error on the voice actor's part, that it should be pronounced "Base" as in bass guitar. I on the other hand, think otherwise....Capcom you sly fox...
Now imagine replacing everytime Rock says the word Bass, with the word @$$...yes...

LOL! Well, Megaman is not wrong. Bass' name is pronounced as "Base". Because well, its a reference to music and all. But he is an @$$.
