Songbird too fragile and Clockwerk has far more tech and weapons to take down Songbird. Besides, Songbird cannot operate in areas with higher pressure. In the game, even being below a few meters of water caused him pain and his eyes to crack. Clockwerk survives in lava, endurance and weaponry wins out for Clockwerk.

It'd be funny if Elizabeth's dimension tearing got out of hand and took Booker and her to Sly's dimension and Songbird followed. Booker and Elizabeth meet Sly and the gang. Eventually they seem like they're all gonna lose to Clockwerk until Elizabeth plays notes C, A, G, and E on an instrument, causing Songbird to come from wherever he was and begin attacking Clockwerk

*Nag* Agreed. Clockwerk gains his power through hatred and negative emotion, such as the desire to kill someone or something. The Songbird seems to have a lot of this, meaning that Clockwerk probably would be able to kill it due to many factors besides hatred. Advanced weaponry, an intellect that can rival most, if not all, alien beings, and the ability to reconstruct what was broken and upgrade what wasn't.
