One thing i'm disappointed in when it comes to the Pokemon Diamond and Pearl Series was that Dawn never fully evolved her piplup. Anyway Piplup was my favorite starter form gen 4 and Empoleon is just one of my top favorite pokemon overall so I needed an excuse to draw it. Originally I wanted to draw May and Blaziken but Empoleon was just a bigger priority and Dawns Platinum outfit is so cute I wanted to draw it as well.
