My (and not only mine) headcanon face for reboot!M'Benga is Michael Early (as you can see here ). I wanted to find an actress that could somehow remind of him and Kerry seemed the perfect choice. I also might have a crush on her since Fantastic Four, but that's another story. I haven't really considered any other black actress, shhh.

M'Benga doesn't have a name in canon. The non-canon name, from books, has been established as Jabilo. There's no female equivalent for Jabilo, nor I couldn't find its meaning, so I tried to search for some name between African names. Gimbya sounded very nice.
