I absolutely adore the way you painted this character, the color contrast for lights and shadows are so crisp and pleasing to the eye, and your attention to detail is outstanding! Excellent work!

Hell yeah awesome siegfried my fav char as a person and to play with. His combo's are awesome and with some practice siegfried is without a doubt one of the most powerfull chars to play with. I remember playing soulblade on the PS1 loved it. Dont really know why they changed its name to soul calibur though after soulblade. Dont really know why but i never played soul calibur 1 and 2 I started playing again at SC 3(and loved it). 4 was a letdown after seeing how awesome 3 was but I have high hopes for 5 (partly cause of ezio).

Yeah, he's a fancy one with giant sword and all his stance changes and what not. I'm not sure why they changed the name either, but supposedly SC5 was gonna be named Soul Blade 2, but they didn't do it to keep the brand recognition. That would've been awesome though.

Haha Thanks! Yeah the soul series has always been my favorite fighting game series. Cervantes has always been my favourite. He's just such an awesome villain that I can't help to love. There's just something about a ghost-pirate doing whatever the funk he wants.

Completely agree with all of that! His design in 2 was the best. I didn't really like how he "turned back alive" in 5. It just seems kinda weird, but I'll deal with it. Also all the music from soul calibur 1 and 2 were really good. My favorite soundtracks from the series to date.

I'm so glad we think alike!!! oh my god! I've yet to buy SCV cause I don't have the ps3 nor the xbox360 and my friend moved away! but I've watched all the walkthroughs and the cutscenes

Yup. I liked the story mode in SCV. The only thing is that it is a little Patroklos/Pyrrha-centric. I wanted to know what happpened to all the other characters as well. But its definitely still a cut above what they did with SCIV. But I'm loving the gameplay too. It's a lot faster, and the Brave Edges and meter add a lot to the experience. I hope you get to play it.

It was during a fight with Raphael at the end of soulcalibur 2. Nightmare was weakened, allowing Siegfried to fight back and regain control of his mind. Then a new (the current) Nightmare formed from shards of Soul Edge with the help of Zasalemel.

haha yeah it is. Sometime next year. I guess thats sorta what I'm doing,... though the costumes I'm using are more of a fusion of all the costumes so far. But still I'd like to see that.

hey we should see if we can get other people to design there own concepts of characters as well it would be kewl to see all the different ideas and stuff. Would be especially interested to see yoshi due to his character design always being completely crazy and unique.

great line work! its a beautiful piece. Although if i can say, I feel that there should be higher whites in the armor to add more shine to it, and some dark blacks, but that may be because its semi transparent on this DA green. Well it looks like the green is coming through. But yeah Fantastic work.
