looking at this picture more I can't help but notice IMO that her eyes seem to not be in the right place. There oddly placed to me. Still love the picture though.

Thanks! Yeah the eyes are a bit high up on her face. Could be a bit bigger too :/

...Magnificent styling of Motoko. I'm in love!
And I don't know why, but she reminded me of Rebecca ("Tank Girl")

Coming from the NEO Reactor Girl thread to comment + critique.
Okay, I like the other pieces you showed me but I just had to comment on this one since I'm a huge fan of Ghost in the Shell. This is clearly a piece made to show off Motoko's design and I think you did just that (flaunting her design and focusing on immense detail). Besides for the wonderful detailing, I think the thing I like the most about this picture is the shading. The light source really does look like it's coming from the side - the overall shading makes Motoko pop out and seem somewhat realistic (which is always a good thing when it comes to this kind of comic book-type art). I do have several critiques though and they all pertain to Motoko's anatomy. Firstly, her face - I believe her eyes are a bit too small (which is accentuated by her sunglasses). The shading is well done on her face but something about it makes it look like it's going inwards somewhat. (I'm not quite sure how to fix that - I think it'd be a good idea to imitate the pose and then look at your face to see where the shadows fall.) And lastly, I think her arms are too stiff - in this pose, they'd be looser.
Overall, I think you're very talented. I love that you're able to draw all different types of men and women. And your shading is wonderfully lucid. Just keep going!

I knew something seemed off about the eyes, but it might just be that they're too small like you say. Same with the arms are. I actually didn't notice how stiff they looked before. Thank you so much for the detailed critique!

Well awesome job on the Major! I appreciate the fact you made her look more realistic, especially by adding asian facial traits. I'm also okay with her outfit, definitely shows less skin and is overall pretty cool.

the lighting is nice but the lines really tell me something is wrong. IO can;t tell wherever they are too wobbly, or something similar. But there is something really off about it. Really, ameaturish in comparison to the rest of the pieces.
There are a few scruffy things, like the top belt above her hips, the colours go over the lines, which I don't think you should be doing since you were 5 + really, though I like the colours on her arms, the light and such on her top and her shorts. The outfit doesn't look particularly comfortable but her outfit makes sense, which is important.

Thanks for the crit. I'll be sure to keep these things in mind, and not make the same mistakes on future works.

Its okay, I still can't figure out the major problem. Perhaps it really is the lines, maybe either remove them or make them more confident?
