I just thought it would be fitting for evelyn. Not broadway though. the stage version of little mermaid is so dissapointing it crushes my soul.

oh yes the film is perfect in every way, and the new song editions in the musical are great. The actors absolutely world class.
however the look of it, the costumes sets etc, looked cheap and horrible. which is a shame. i think if they didn't rush to get it to broadway and took some time in the design of the show, it would have been far more enjoyable. kiss the girl makes me cringe it was so horrible,urgh and les poissons, it was like theme park theatre. The story changed slightly too, which is understandable considering some things just can't translate to the stage, some script changes feel like writers let their children do it.
anyway..sorry about the rant. I do like the music in it. just not the show aesthetically.
