Hello everyone,

after not sharing artworks for ages I come up with something I'm not happy with.

The artwork should have been a study for a series I've been working on for quite a while starting in 2001 with a picture about the story of "Rapunzel".

It's called "Badass Fairy Tales".

The idea behind the series is to show fairy tales from a different point of view. Not those cute characters who stumble into something.

Mine are standing up before things turn in a bad way.

This artwork is a pre-release and not for sale. A client saw the sketch by accident and wanted to have it as a payed artwork before X-mas.

This is where my problems started. I had to release it before I was happy with what comes out and I had to make it work on a 70x50cm print in time.

I also wanted it to have a consistent look so I skipped away a lot WIP parts I've done on it so far.

Well that's all I'll tell about it so far but I guess you'll get more detailed information in the comments (hopefully)

You may ask why I posted this! Well I want your feedback as some people can see this soon anyways.

Even I'm a professional artist I want to switch back more on drawings and comics.

As an Illustrator I know how much this drawing lacks in many ways but please feel free to write any comments that you think of being helpful.

If you think you can discuss problems at a high level of creating a high-res image like this please go ahead. It's much appreciated!

If you want to share tutorials about drawings like these, they are welcome!
